Spokane Veterans For Peace Chapter #35 has voted to launch a campaign to send a first-time attendee to the Veterans For Peace National Convention in Kansas City, Missouri, August 6–9, 2026.
Our goal is to raise $1,000 for registration, travel expenses, four days of lodging, and meals. At the time this campaign was announced, $246 had been collected, leaving $754 to reach the goal.

About the convention
The national gathering brings together veterans, military family members, peace advocates, and community organizers for education, organizing, advocacy, and action under the theme Peace Through Nonviolent Action: From Chaos to Community.
Topics include labor and community organizing, Indigenous perspectives on colonialism and imperialism, Gaza, nuclear-weapons-plant worker health, veterans' healthcare, active-duty outreach, migrant and student defense, climate crisis, and anti-militarism.
